13:30 - Campo San Zaccaria

This is the square and the time when we meet before starting the tour. The tour takes place from Monday to Saturday. Campo San Zaccaria takes its name from the church that has its main entrance on this same esplanade.

Iglesia de la Piedad - Santa María de la Visitación (Church of the Pietà - Saint Mary of the Visitation)
The present church was built around 1750/55. The church is so called because it is located next to the old orphanage, situated in Via della Pietà.
Camp Santa Maria Formosa
It is one of the largest fields in the city of Venice and owes its name to the presence of the church of Santa Maria Formosa.
Campiello del Remer
This is one of the most characteristic corners of the city of La Laguna, wedged between 19th century buildings. Its name is probably due to the fact that artisans used to make oars for boats in this hollow.
San Marcos Large School
The Scuola Grande di San Marco is a Renaissance building located in the Castello district. It was founded by the Scuola of the same name and overlooks the Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo of Venice.
