How to get to Eremitani Square

Getting to Padua's Piazza Eremitani from the train or bus station is very easy. The walking route will take you no more than 10 minutes from either location. Alternatively, in front of Padua's central train station, there are several buses that stop in front of the Poste Italiane: cross the street, behind the Cassa di Risparmio building, and you will find the starting point square.

Scrovegni Chapel
The Scrovegni Chapel is a church in Padua, formerly a private chapel and now part of the Civic Museums of Padua. It houses a well-known cycle of frescoes by Giotto from the early 14th century, considered one of the masterpieces of western art.

Piazza della Frutta
Piazza della Frutta, also called Piazza del Peronio in the past, has been for centuries, together with Piazza delle Erbe, the commercial centre of the city. Both squares are home to one of the largest markets in Italy. The square is dominated by the massive Palazzo della Ragione.
Plaza de los SeƱores
Piazza dei Signori or Piazza della Signoria is one of the many squares that characterise the historic centre of the city of Padua. For centuries it was the scene of civic celebrations, tournaments and a representative space of the city. The square is dominated by the famous Clock Tower.

Piazza delle Erbe, also formerly known as Piazza delle Biade or Piazza del Vino, is one of the many squares that characterise the historic centre of Padua. For centuries it was, together with Piazza della Frutta, the commercial centre of the city.
Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua
The Minor Pontifical Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua is one of the main Catholic places of worship in the city of Padua in Veneto. Known worldwide as the Basilica of the Saint, or more simply as the Saint, it is visited annually by more than 6.5 million pilgrims, making it one of the most venerated shrines in the Christian world.

Abbey Basilica of Santa Giustina
The Abbey Basilica of Santa Giustina is an important Catholic place of worship in Padua, located near Prato della Valle. It is an Italian national monument. The basilica, rebuilt in the 16th century, remains one of the largest basilicas in the world.

Prato della Valle
The Prato della Valle is the largest square in the city of Padua. Its current configuration dates back to the end of the 18th century and is characterised by a central elliptical island, called isola Memmia, surrounded by a small canal on whose banks there is a double ring of statues.

I really enjoyed the visit to the centre of Padua with Citiesing. Two hours flew by admiring the centre of Padua and the guide explained it very well. Thanks to all
